You deserve the best there is for prices you can afford.

You're paying way more than you should for almost everything you buy. Not because that’s what it actually cost to produce, but because you're not just paying for the thing, you're paying for the cost of selling it to you: the ads, the sales team, the executive bonuses, the shareholder returns. They want you to think you don't have a choice. Fuck that. There's a better way: Generics....

Fuck the Margin Industrial Complex

The margin industrial complex is the system that makes everything cost more than it has to. It’s in your prescriptions, your flights, your phone plan, the cereal in your cart. What you pay isn’t just what it costs to make the thing. It’s what it costs to sell it to you and keep the people at the top living well: outrageous sales budgets, ridiculous overhead, company trips to Hawaii, fat executive bonuses and investor returns that are expected to climb every single year. They keep raising their margins because they can.

We’ve been told this is just capitalism doing its job. Competition is supposed to force companies to give you the best product at the best price, or someone else will. But with too little regulation and decades of consolidation, that’s no longer how it works. A handful of giant companies now set the rules in almost every industry, and the rest of us just have to live by them.

The big companies buy up the small ones. The cost of doing business keeps rising, so new companies can’t get off the ground to compete. The result is fewer and fewer choices, which is how a domestic flight ends up costing almost $1,000 and you’re stuck paying a cable bill that runs hundreds of dollars a month even though you’re only watching Netflix. You end up paying way more than you should, locked into contracts you can’t get out of, while the service just keeps getting worse.

They want you to believe this is just how it works. It isn’t. Costco proved that. Cost Plus Drugs proved it again. Generics do it differently. They cut what doesn’t serve you, keep what does, and price it honestly.

Spend less on the things you need without giving up quality, so you can build your business or provide for your kids’ uncertain future. Those things are priceless. For everything else, hopefully there’s Medicare for All.

We're bringing the generic movement to a trillion dollar industry to put $$$ back in your pocket.
